The tree is medium to vigorous with a high-pyramidal crown, the branches of which may droop under the weight of the crop. The variety is undemanding to soils and adapts well to various climatic conditions, including highlands.
Fruits are of medium to large size, pear-shaped or bell-shaped. The skin is light yellow with a reddish blush and dots. The white flesh is tender, buttery, and juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste. The storage life of the fruits is short, lasting 1–2 weeks.
The variety is considered self-fertile or partially self-fertile and responds well to the proximity of other pollinator varieties. Resistance to diseases, including scab, is assessed as good. During abundant flowering, thinning of ovaries is recommended.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
