The tree is noted for its vigorous growth, high fertility, and tolerance to various soil types, including sandy and clay soils, and it withstands summer drought. Flowering is mid-early, and the variety shows a tendency toward parthenocarpy.

The fruits are medium-small in size, weighing about 150 g, have a pear shape, and are slightly flattened at the poles. The skin is rough, yellowish-green in color with russeting and a pale red blush. The flesh is crunchy, granular, and aromatic, possessing a sweet taste with slight astringency.

The variety is classified as culinary; its flavor profile is best expressed when poached in wine. The fruits have good keeping quality and can be consumed fresh upon reaching full maturity.
