The fruit is small, flattened in shape, and symmetrical. At maturity, the skin is yellow with a red blush on the sun-exposed side; the surface is smooth with sparse red lenticels. The peduncle is long and thick, attached in a wide, shallow cavity. The calyx is located in a small and shallow cavity. The flesh is white and has low juiciness.
The variety has no commercial purpose. Historically, it was used as a fresh fruit reserve during the winter period for human consumption and as livestock feed. The variety is preserved mainly in plantings of individual trees or small orchards; specialized data on exact ripening dates and disease resistance are unavailable.
