Variety description

The Vdala tree has medium vigor and a pyramidal crown shape. Leaves are large, dark green, on long petioles. Fruiting occurs on simple and complex spurs.

Fruits are elongated pear-shaped with greenish-yellow skin. The flesh is white, buttery, and juicy. Yield is 25–28 t/ha. The variety shows high resistance to scab and leaf spots.

The variety is a dessert type and is intended for fresh consumption. The fruits are suitable for long-term storage in a refrigerator, during which the flesh does not darken.
