The tree of moderate vigor reaches 3.5 m in height and 2.5 m in width. The variety is adapted to a temperate climate, is characterized by resistance to diseases and pests, and frost resistance is from -15 to -20°C. It is not self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinators.
Fruits ripen in late July — early August and are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The shelf life of the harvest is limited to 1–1.5 months. The variety was used in breeding work to develop other varieties of Asian pear.
