The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties «Gagatai» and «Intercontinental». The variety is characterized by a high proportion of large berries, accounting for up to 67% of the total harvest weight. Maturity dates fall in late June — early July.

In field trials, the average yield of the variety varies from 3.55 to 5.11 t/ha depending on growing conditions. The plant possesses resistance to the main diseases and pests of blackcurrant.

The variety is intended for cultivation for commercial purposes and in home gardens. It is suitable for industrial processing and fresh consumption.
