The bush of the variety is of medium vigor, semi-erect or slightly spreading. The berries are of small or medium size, gathered in clusters of medium length, and are distinguished by an aromatic and sour taste.
The variety has a medium maturity group. High susceptibility to Cronartium ribicola has been established, as well as a predisposition to anthracnose. In scientific literature, the variety is known as one of the parental components for crossing with gooseberry to obtain hybrids.
