The variety belongs to the late maturity group. The berries are distinguished by an increased level of vitamin C, as well as a high content of anthocyanins and soluble solids. In terms of anthocyanin levels in overripe berries, the variety holds a leading position among a number of studied Lithuanian varieties.

Due to the complex of its characteristics and adaptability, the variety is recognized as suitable for use in organic gardening. The variety is included in scientific research on the study of genetic resistance to powdery mildew, anthracnose, septoria leaf spot, and the blackcurrant bud mite.
