The variety belongs to the group of green-fruited black currant cultivars and is a product of Finnish breeding, obtained by crossing the variety Vertti with another green-fruited form. The plant bush has an erect growth type, and the variety is characterized by high winter hardiness.
The berries retain a green color upon ripening and possess a sweet taste without the pronounced aroma of a classic black currant. The vitamin C content in the fruits is approximately 200 mg per 100 g. The variety has a universal purpose, including fresh consumption and processing.
