The variety is the result of crossing the varieties Jonkheer van Tets and Heinemanns Rote Spätlese. The bushes are distinguished by vigorous growth and a semi-spreading canopy shape; cultivation in standard form is permitted.
Berry ripening occurs in the second to third ten-day period of July. The fruits are medium-sized, dark red in color, have a balanced sweet-and-sour taste and a pronounced aroma. The long racemes are convenient for manual harvesting, and the berries have good transportability.
The variety possesses high wood frost resistance and resistance to spring frosts, and also demonstrates high resistance to anthracnose. In arid conditions, leaf margin scorch may occur. The variety is for universal use, suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
