The plant is a perennial subshrub 10–20 cm in height with creeping underground stolons. The variety is self-sterile; therefore, planting at least two or three different varieties of Arctic raspberry on the site is required to obtain a harvest. The crop prefers moist, acidic, and peat soils.

Berries have an average weight of 1.2–1.5 g and are colored red or purple with a bluish bloom. The fruits possess a sweet taste and a pronounced pineapple aroma. The plant is distinguished by high frost resistance and general resistance to diseases.
