The plant is a low-growing herbaceous perennial up to 25–30 cm tall, whose aerial part dies back annually for the winter. The variety forms large pink flowers.

To obtain a harvest, the variety requires cross-pollination and the presence of at least two different arctic raspberry varieties on the site. It can act as a pollinator for other representatives of the species.

The variety prefers well-lit areas with moist acidic peat or sandy soils, protected from strong winds. It tolerates shading poorly.
