The cultivar is a hybrid of Rubus arcticus and Rubus arcticus ssp. stellatus. The plant is a perennial herbaceous subshrub with a height from 10–25 to 30 cm, and up to 50 cm under certain conditions.

The berry is an aggregate drupe weighing 1–2.5 g, colored dark cherry or purple, often with a glaucous bloom. The cultivar is mid-season, the harvest ripens in August. Possesses winter hardiness down to -30 °C.

The cultivar is self-incompatible. To obtain a yield, it is necessary to have at least two different cultivars on the plot for cross-pollination.
