A variety of German origin, which became widespread in Russia after 1945 from the orchards of former East Prussia. It belongs to the mid-season maturity group.

The shoots are characterized by insignificant thorniness. The berries are large, red or light red in color, and have good taste qualities. The variety is self-fertile and distinguished by high yield.

A significant feature of the variety is its high susceptibility to viral diseases.
