Rubus idaeus L. Red raspberry · Fruit crops

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is the result of breeding from the variety Newburgh and bears fruit on second-year canes. The bush is vigorous, 1.2 to 2 meters tall, which requires the installation of trellises to support the canes during the fruiting period.

The berries have a bright red color, good firmness, and a balanced sweet-and-sour taste. The variety has immunity to raspberry bushy dwarf virus, but exhibits susceptibility to root rot.

The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and processing. Under certain climatic conditions, the ability to produce a minor yield on current-year canes in the autumn period is noted.
