Variety description

The variety is a summer-bearing type, fruiting on biennial canes. Plants are vigorous, have upright laterals, and the canes are thornless. Fruits are large, firm, bright red or dark red in color, detach easily from the receptacle, and have a balanced flavor.

The variety is characterized by good shelf life and high transportability, oriented toward the fresh produce market. Plants are resistant to root rots, pre- and post-harvest fruit rots, as well as aphids—the vectors of mosaic. Susceptibility to crown gall and moderate yield are noted.
