The variety is the result of a cross between Wakefield and NR14 varieties. Plants form a large number of current-year canes; the vegetative bud burst phase on second-year canes is early. The variety is characterized by mid-season maturity.
Berries are medium-large in size and possess a firm structure, which allows them to maintain their shape during storage and individual quick freezing. The variety shows resistance to raspberry bushy dwarf virus and root rot caused by Phytophthora rubi.
