The bushes of the variety are characterized by vigorous growth and erect canes covered with spines. The berries are medium-sized, light red in color, and have a firm consistency; the flavor of the berries is rated as good.

The variety possesses valuable characteristics: winter hardiness and resistance to raspberry dwarf virus, anthracnose, and Didymella. It is capable of tolerating heavier soils than many other varieties, but shows susceptibility to root rots.
