Plant of moderate growth vigor with erect canes. Young shoots are light green with sparse weak prickles; fruiting canes are light brown with a grey bloom.
Berries are dark red, medium-sized, round or flattened in shape with tightly cohering drupelets. The variety is distinguished by a high content of sugars and acids, and is used for fresh consumption and freezing.
The variety possesses moderate winter hardiness. It is characterized by good general disease resistance, particularly to cane blight, but is moderately susceptible to anthracnose.
