The variety is an erect blackberry (kumanika) with stiff, prickly canes. It is considered a mutant of the Cheyenne variety.

The berries are black, large, weighing about 8–10 grams, have a rounded shape and a sweet-sour taste. Fruiting is extended over time.

The plant possesses moderate winter hardiness down to -22°C; the canes are sensitive to low temperatures. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and processing.
