The plant forms vigorous erect bushes up to 2.5–3.5 meters in height. Shoots are stiff, thornless, which facilitates maintenance. Leaves are large, bright green, trifoliate or five-lobed in shape.
Fruits are oval or barrel-shaped, black, with a glossy sheen. The average berry weight is 6–9 g, reaching 16 g. The taste is sweet with slight acidity. The plant bears fruit on two-year-old shoots in July–August.
The variety requires trellising due to the large mass of the shoots. Frost resistance is rated as high, but covering is recommended in cold winter conditions. Propagated mainly by cuttings; it produces practically no root suckers.
