The variety was obtained in 2003 as a result of crossing the hybrid ORUS 1393-2-1 and the Triple Crown variety. It represents a combination of blackberry genetic material from eastern erect and western trailing populations of North America.
The plant is thornless, of semi-erect growth habit, and possesses high productivity. The berries are dark in color, large, firm, and ripen approximately 3 days earlier than the Eclipse variety.
The variety possesses resistance to Fusarium wilt and tolerates heat stress well, under which the fruits sustain minimal damage. As a semi-erect crop, it requires specific cultivation conditions.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
