The tree forms a straight cylindrical trunk with branches directed upwards. The leaves are larger than those of the typical species. On young parts, the bark is grayish, and with age, it acquires a reddish-brown hue. The branch structure facilitates pruning and the mechanization of forestry operations.
The variety is intended for cultivation on river floodplains, alluvial and marshy soils, and tolerates flooding well. It is characterized by high resistance to pests and diseases, although under drought conditions, dieback of the tops is possible in mature trees. The wood possesses improved technical characteristics compared to the species.
