Variety description

The variety is intended for cultivation in short-rotation forestry systems for the purpose of obtaining biomass for energy production. It was selected from local Romanian flora, which ensures its better adaptation to local ecological conditions compared to some introduced varieties.

During research, the variety demonstrated high biomass yields, comparable to a number of foreign counterparts. Lower susceptibility to leaf rust was noted in comparison with other samples. Growth rate indicators are characterized by high variability depending on growing conditions.
