Tree with a conical crown shape and a straight trunk. Branches are ascending, with long lower branches, giving the crown a broad-pyramidal appearance. The branch attachment angle is approximately 45 degrees. Twigs are gray-brown with large buds; leaves are narrow with a length-to-width ratio of 6–7:1, falling late.
The variety is characterized by a fast growth rate and relative resistance to watermark disease. It is used in landscaping, road and avenue planting, as well as in bioenergy and phytoremediation projects.
