The variety is a perennial plant designed for plantation operation for 15–20 years with a harvesting cycle every three years. In the first year after planting, the average shoot length reaches 230 cm.
The biomass of the variety contains up to 49.69% cellulose and possesses characteristics suitable for use as fuel. The variety is also being studied for the phytoremediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals.
The plant possesses relative resistance to pests and adverse soil conditions, including salinization. In literature, the variety is also encountered under the designation clone UWM 063.
