The variety Ternopil`s`ka is a breeding achievement aimed at cultivating energy plantations for the production of renewable solid biofuel. The crop demonstrates adaptability to the conditions of the Kyiv Polissya and other regions of Ukraine.

The biological characteristics of the variety determine its response to agricultural practices. During experimental observations, plant height varied within the range of 78.4–95.2 cm. The variety possesses resistance to negative environmental factors, which is a key criterion for the selection of material for energy plantations.
