The variety was obtained as a result of breeding involving Salix triandra and Salix viminalis. The biomass of this clone is used for energy purposes, in particular for the production of fuel pellets, due to its relatively low moisture and ash content.

The plant belongs to the category of energy willow intended for harvesting within a short rotation cycle (Short Rotation Coppice) every 2–3 years. The variety demonstrates efficiency in energy forestry conditions and good adaptation to various environmental conditions.
