The variety forms long, cylindrical, blunt-ended roots with thin, smooth skin of deep black color and white flesh. The roots are characterized by the absence of hollows in the upper part.
The plant reaches a height of 45–60 cm in the first year and up to 90–100 cm in the second year during flowering. The vegetation period is 120–150 days. The variety is not prone to hollowing and has low susceptibility to bolting.
The roots are used in cooking for preparing soups, side dishes, and are consumed boiled or fried.
