The variety is a winter rye hybrid. It possesses winter hardiness and was studied in the context of adaptation to northern latitudes. The grain of the variety consistently demonstrates high falling number and peak amylogram viscosity indicators.

In agrotechnical terms, the variety is characterized by susceptibility to ergot infection. Comparative studies also indicate the existence of other hybrids that outperform this variety in terms of lodging resistance.
