The variety is intended for cultivation in crop rotation after corn harvest. It provides early availability of green forage, allowing livestock to be turned out to pasture 2–3 weeks earlier than when using Italian ryegrass. The crop can also be used for silage, haylage, biogas production, and preventing nitrogen leaching from the soil during the winter period.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness, intensive early spring development, and high natural resistance to diseases and pests. The variety is characterized by high biomass production potential and is capable of growing on various soil types. The recommended seeding rate for autumn sowing is 160–185 kg/ha.
