The plant possesses high winter hardiness, resistance to lodging, and resistance to sprouting in the ear. Due to its early maturity and ability to grow on poor soils without intensive application of mineral fertilizers, the variety is suitable for organic cultivation.
The grain possesses good baking qualities; the flour has a full-bodied and slightly sweet taste. In addition to baking bakery products, the variety is used in the production of vodka.
