The variety is intended for the production of green mass and whole-plant silage, as well as for protecting soil from erosion, preventing nitrogen leaching, and weed suppression. The plant is characterized by an early development cycle, which allows for late sowing after corn silage harvesting.
The variety is distinguished by intensive development in the spring period, medium plant height, and medium resistance to lodging. It possesses high winter hardiness and cold tolerance and is suitable for use in crop rotations. Dry matter yield ranges from 40 to 80 c/ha for green fodder and from 110 to 140 c/ha for silage.
Sowing is recommended during the period from September to November with a rate of about 350 seeds per m². The variety is not intended for cultivation for commercial grain.
