Variety description

The plant has a slow growth habit and does not require regular pruning. Leathery leaves are dark green and have a glossy sheen. Buds form in autumn and remain decorative throughout the winter, acquiring a more intense pink or fuchsia hue during the cold period.
Flowering occurs at the end of March or April. The variety is male, does not produce berries, and serves as a pollinator for female Skimmia specimens. The plant is suitable for container cultivation, use as a specimen plant, and is suitable for cutting. Prefers partial shade or shade and acidic well-drained soils.
