Variety description

The variety is a compact, dense evergreen shrub. Height and width can vary from 30–50 cm to 180 cm in height and up to 250 cm in width; the annual growth is about 10–20 cm. The leaves are lanceolate, leathery, dark green with a creamy-white margin.

Flowering begins in May with creamy-white fragrant flowers in paniculate inflorescences. Pinkish buds form in August and remain on the plant throughout the winter. Rounded red fruits appear in August and persist for a long time.

The plant has high resistance to garden diseases and frost resistance down to -20°C. It is used for solitary plantings, accent groups, and container cultivation.
