Variety description

The variety is an evergreen shrub with a dense, thick crown. The growth rate is moderate: faster than Skimmia reevesiana, but slower than the Skimmia japonica ‘Pabella’ variety. The foliage retains its decorative quality throughout the year.
The plant is a female variety that blooms abundantly with fragrant flowers and forms a large number of red berries that ripen earlier than a number of other varieties. Cultivation of the variety is described as energy-efficient; the plant is suitable for container growing and landscaping.
