Variety description

The variety is a compact evergreen shrub with lanceolate leathery leaves of dark green color. It belongs to female specimens capable of forming ornamental red fruits in the presence of a male pollinator plant. Flowering occurs in spring, in May, when the plant produces paniculate inflorescences.
The plant is characterized by relatively slow growth. Successful cultivation requires semi-shaded or shaded, wind-protected sites with well-drained, acidic, humus-rich soils. The fruits of this plant are poisonous.
