Variety description

The plant reaches about 60 cm in height and up to 1 meter in width. The leaves have an oval or lanceolate shape with a smooth margin and a slight sheen. Flowering occurs with small fragrant flowers in paniculate inflorescences, usually in April. In the presence of a male pollinator, glossy red berries are formed, which remain on the shrub for a long time.
The variety is intended for cultivation in partial shade and shade, on acidic humus moist soils with good drainage. The plant has high frost resistance, withstanding temperatures down to -27°C. All parts of this variety are poisonous.
