Variety description

The plant is a dense, rounded shrub 1 to 1.5 meters in height with leathery, glossy, lanceolate leaves that emit a citrus scent. It is a female specimen and requires the presence of a male pollinator plant for fruit formation.
Flowering occurs in April-May with white fragrant flowers in paniculate inflorescences. In autumn, large, bright red, glossy fruits form, which remain on the bush all winter. The plant tolerates shading and urban environmental conditions well, prefers moist, drained, acidic soils; the fruits are poisonous.
