The UMH 1127 breeding line was developed to introduce resistance genes into the traditional Spanish variety Muchamiel. The line is intended for the fresh market.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV) and Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). The line does not have resistance to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV).

Yield performance is comparable to or exceeds the original Muchamiel 18 variety. The fruits are characterized by a medium to large size from 150 to 300 g, are multilocular and flattened, have pronounced ribbing, green shoulders, and red flesh.
