There is a commercial hybrid Vittoria F1, characterized by an oval-elongated fruit shape and specific coloration: purple stripes on a white background. The plant is oriented toward early ripening and cultivation in greenhouse conditions.
The name Vittoria is also often used to denote the geographical origin of eggplants from the Ragusa region, and not just as a breeding variety. Detailed agronomic characteristics of the plant, such as height or disease resistance, are absent in open sources.
