The variety is very early or early and is classified as a table variety. Its tubers are oval-shaped with light skin, shallow eyes, and light yellow flesh. The plant possesses weak or moderate resistance to late blight.

In breeding work, this variety has been actively used as a parental line to develop such varieties as Kufri Uday, Unica, and Qingshu9. It is not represented as an independent commercial variety in current seed potato catalogs.
