The variety was obtained by crossing DHS 70.1034.9 and Maris Piper. The plant develops quickly, has strong stems of medium height and moderate foliage. The flowers are pale violet, and their number on the bush is small. The tubers are uniform with smooth skin.
The period from emergence to haulm senescence is 70–90 days. Yield potential is high. The culinary type is floury; when boiled, the tubers maintain their shape and have moderate density. The variety is characterized by a low dry matter content.
The variety is immune to potato wart, resistant to Fusarium wilt, and moderately resistant to common scab. It shows moderate resistance to potato leafroll virus, and is susceptible to viruses X and Y, blackleg, as well as late blight of haulm and tubers.
