The variety was bred as a high-yielding potato for the needs of the starch industry. It is characterized by high photosynthetic efficiency and intensive accumulation of anthocyanins at the base of the sprout.
During the breeding process, the variety was endowed with resistance to the golden potato cyst nematode (Globodera pallida). In its work on breeding this variety, the originator company uses marker-assisted selection methods to improve economically valuable traits.
