The variety is a table potato and is included in European variety lists. In German reference books, it is classified as mid-late or late, however, in other climatic conditions, for example in Cameroon, it shows signs of a short vegetation period of about 90 days.
During the breeding process, special attention was paid to the development of resistance to pathogens, in particular to the golden potato cyst nematode (Globodera rostochiensis) and potato virus Y (PVY). The variety is used in international agricultural support projects to strengthen the food supply.
