The plant is of a vigorous type, erect, with intensely blue flowers. Tubers are round-oval in shape with yellow reticulated skin and light yellow flesh; eyes are shallow to medium-deep. The variety has a long dormancy period and is not prone to rapid sprouting, which ensures high keeping quality.
The variety is resistant to potato wart (pathotype 1) and a wide spectrum of nematodes (Ro 1, 3, 4, 5; Pa 2, 3). It shows high resistance to PVY and late blight, and medium resistance to common scab and leaf roll. The robust haulm facilitates mechanized harvesting. The variety utilizes nitrogen fertilizers efficiently and requires sprouting stimulation before planting.
