The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Ottar and Pentland Javelin. The tubers have a round or oval shape with shallow eyes. Regarding culinary qualities, it belongs to the medium floury category.
The plant possesses resistance to potato wart and good resistance to tuber late blight, while demonstrating weak resistance to foliage late blight. The variety is traditional for Norway, being especially widespread in the Nordland region.
