The variety is classified as early. Tubers are round-oval in shape, with smooth light yellow skin and light yellow flesh, eyes are shallow. The haulm provides medium or good soil cover; flowering with reddish-purple flowers occurs rarely.

The variety is characterized by low susceptibility to late blight of leaves and tubers, as well as to Yn virus, moderate resistance to potato wart, but is sensitive to scab and nematodes. The culinary type ranges from B to BC; the flesh does not darken after cooking. Yield is low, keeping quality is medium, and drought tolerance is rated as medium or good.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption and processing into french fries. In breeding, it is used as a source of the Ry gene, which provides extreme resistance to potato Y-virus.
