The variety was obtained in 1999 by crossing the variety «Innovator» with a seedling from the combination of «Pentland Javelin» and another breeding sample. The plant reaches a height of about 42.5 cm.
The tubers are very large, have white smooth skin and shallow eyes. The variety is characterized by cooking type B, medium dry matter content, and does not darken after cooking. It has a long dormancy period, but a high susceptibility to mechanical damage.
The variety is resistant to the pale potato cyst nematode, moderately resistant to common scab and tobacco rattle virus. It is susceptible to late blight of leaves and tubers, Fusarium, powdery scab, and Y-virus.
