Plant of medium height, semi-erect, with weakly pigmented stems and olive-green semi-open leaves. Flowers are white on long pigmented peduncles. Tubers are oval with smooth cream-yellow skin, shallow eyes, and yellow flesh. Sprouts are purple and have a wide cylindrical shape.
The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group and is intended for the fresh market. It possesses high yield potential and good keeping quality in storage. Suitable for boiling and baking, does not darken after heat treatment. Pre-harvest haulm removal can be difficult.
The variety shows immunity to potato wart (race 2) and resistance to the golden potato cyst nematode. High resistance to common scab is noted, as well as moderate resistance to potato leafroll virus and potato virus Y.
